4. The Old Woman in the Wood

This story is from the Brothers Grimm, these guy collected a huge number of stories but I've always like reading their lesser known ones, The Old Woman in the Wood is one of those that most people wouldn't have heard of but it's still quite a nice story. http://www.cs.cmu.edu/~spok/grimmtmp/ this site has the compleat works of the Grimm Brothers if you would like to read some more of their stories.
